The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This 7 x 10 watercolor was inspired by the song "Love and Happiness," performed by Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris. The beginning lyrics are:
"Here's a wishing well . . .
Here's a penny for . . .
Any thought it is . . .
That makes you smile . . ."
Among the gifts left at the wishing well is a bag of pennies.
The original is for sale. It is matted for a 9x12 frame, not included.
About Joseph Burger
After retiring from an engineering career in 2009, Joe's attention turned to art, beginning with pencil drawings and then pastel and watercolor paintings. He especially enjoys the beauty and human interest found in everyday New England scenes, as well as the challenge of commission work, the challenge of capturing a client's idea in an artistic way. Joe's engineering and drawing background has proved to be a strength, resulting in many awards in local art shows and acceptance in nationally recognized exhibits. He is a member of several Connecticut and Massachusetts art organizations. He gives demonstrations at art club meetings, leads watercolor workshops, and is an instructor for watercolor classes.
