Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

This painting is based on the Barnegat Lighthouse on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The Oceanic hotel in the background (built in 1881) was destroyed in a fire a long time ago. The large Jersey skiff stranded in the sand dunes is similar to the ones used by local fishermen in the past. It is a compilation of some memories of the area. The original is a 22x30 watercolor painting.
After retiring from an engineering career in 2009, Joe's attention turned to art, beginning with pencil drawings and then pastel and watercolor paintings. He especially enjoys the beauty and human interest found in everyday New England scenes, as well as the challenge of commission work, the challenge of capturing a client's idea in an artistic way. Joe's engineering and drawing background has proved to be a strength, resulting in many awards in local art shows and acceptance in nationally recognized exhibits. He is a member of several Connecticut and Massachusetts art organizations. He gives demonstrations at art club meetings, leads watercolor workshops, and is an instructor for watercolor classes.
