This watercolor painting of a rather unique home located on a ridge outside of Springfield Massachusetts was done on commission for the owner/resident, and is shown here as an example of my work. The original image is approximately 14 x 20. It has been sold.

About Joseph Burger

Joseph Burger

After retiring from an engineering career in 2009, Joe's attention turned to art, beginning with pencil drawings and then pastel and watercolor paintings. He especially enjoys the beauty and human interest found in everyday New England scenes, as well as the challenge of commission work, the challenge of capturing a client's idea in an artistic way. Joe's engineering and drawing background has proved to be a strength, resulting in many awards in local art shows and acceptance in nationally recognized exhibits. He is a member of several Connecticut and Massachusetts art organizations. He gives demonstrations at art club meetings, leads watercolor workshops, and is an instructor for watercolor classes.
